While quite a few of our fellow forum owners responded to our invite to meet up for lunch in Istanbul, not all were able to make it. We were excited to meet as many of you as we could, but alas, work, life, and other responsibilities are bound to come up so we adapted and reconfigured the meet up to be a more intimate and relaxed event.
2 local Istanbul forum owners were able to meet with us for lunch and the event turned out to be a great experience. The silver lining of having a smaller meet up is the ability to have deeper conversations and more time devoted to them. Our CRO, Eric Sternbach with a fellow friend and forum owner assisting in interpreting were able to have a productive discussion in Turkish.
We believe having a local communication channel with Forum Owners in their own language is key to helping forum owners and Tapatalk increase traffic, engagement, and improving Tapatalk to forum owner’s needs. This is an effort we will be looking into for more locales and will be a tough task to accomplish, but we think it will be worth it. What are your thoughts on this type of communication? Let us know in the comments section below.
